Ganondorf and the Triforce of Power exist on Earth

I would like to start by saying I have located the Triforce of Power.

That being said – you may or may not know, I really like video games. Although I am particularly akin to Nintendo games: Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Mario Kart, etc.

Zelda Universe was hosting a photo contest with the instructions: “take a photo of something in real life you feel represents or reminds you of Zelda.”

When I read this, I knew exactly the image I wanted to submit for this contest.

In the rural east of San Diego there is a town known as Jamul. On you way into Jamul on CA State Route 94 there exist a boulder that undoubtedly resembles Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. You can’t miss this face. It is sticking right out of the mountain side, glaring into your soul. The first time I saw it I couldn’t believe it and how close the resembleance was to the actual game.

I have been enamored by this natural sculpture for quite some time now and I am glad I finally got to share it with somebody. For those in the know, I have deemed this the physical location of the Triforce of Power on Earth.

Let’s keep this little Star Wars theme going with a recent acquisition of mine. I am a huge Star Wars fan and have been falling asleep to the original sage every night for the last week or so. I did some digging to find some Star Wars tunes and found this little gem. DJ Slink throws in some bass to accompy the ever famous cantina band song along with some excellent Jedi dialouge and the product of this is an excellent Star Wars song that isn’t too geeky.

American Drug Use – Where do you stand?

This is a more than stunning representation of “what drugs local law enforcements officials said were posing the greatest dangers to their communities.” Not what I expected to be honest. I thought the California marijuana number would be higher and I sure didn’t expect to see the meth number so high…geez. It also looks like Florida really likes cocaine.
